Born 1989 in Mexico City. Cacho began his career as a designer. From this background his practice inherited a process of research, thought and exploration towards the construction of objects. He is interested in the boundaries between craft and art. He researches everyday actions to tackle the recognition and awareness of the mundane. His work has been exhibited at museums in Mexico including Franz Mayer Museum and San Ildefonso College. He has also participated in the 2nd Iberoamerican Ibero-American Design Biennial in Spain. Cacho is currently enrolled in the Global Art Practice MFA programme at Tokyo University of the Arts.

MONICA ENRIQUEZ CASTILLO

Born 1990 in the Philippines, Monica E. Castillo graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Philippines. She took short courses in Industrial Design at the Feng Zhu School of Design in Singapore, and has worked as a freelance graphic designer. In 2014, Castillo held her first solo show entitled INKED, which was followed by a group show, Tagaytay Art Beat, in 2015. Technique and imagination are key, says Castillo. She calls herself a drawer at heart, but this does not stop her from dabbling in other mediums. She is currently pursuing further studies in the Global Art Practice MFA programme at the Tokyo University of the Arts.

Fabio Dartizio (b. 1989, Milan) lives and works between London and Milan. He attended the New Academy of Fine Art of Milan thanks to a scholarship and in 2012 he graduated with laude in Art Direction. In 2014 he won the Arte Laguna Prize of Venice and the Arte Mondadori Award promoted by Cairo Editore. In 2016 the Municipality of Milan devoted him a personal exhibition at the Francesco Messina Museum. He’s currently completing a master in fine art in London, at Central Saint Martins School of Art, thanks to the Mona Hatoum Bursary. Fabio Dartizio works and exhibits in Italy and aboard.

Born in Moscow, Russia. Graduated from Moscow Architectural Institute in 2012, worked as an architect for 3 years mostly on conceptions for competitions. At the same time designed and produced interior objects and lamps for several bars in Moscow, and created first experimental film-opera NOEX, which took part at Short film corner organized by the Festival de Cannes. Mariia’s works participated in few photo exhibitions in WINZAVOD CENTRE FOR CONTEMPORARY ART (Moscow) and Ostankino TV center (Moscow). Currently completing a MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins.

She has also worked with illustration and design. Her work uses projection mapping and dialogue to explore interior worlds. Tiffany Howe was born in 1994 in South Wales. Primarily focusing on the fluidity of paint (vs sculpture) which was explored throughout her BA where she received a First Class Honours in Cardiff Metropolitan University. Currently Tiffany is based in London where she is studying an MA Fine Art degree at Central Saint Martins. She has exhibited in a number of galleries and spaces across the United Kingdom and was awarded a scholarship award from The South Square Trust in 2017. Tiffany is exploring a multi-disciplinary practice which investigates the idea of colour and ‘collapse’ responding to the world of today.

Diana Lloyd is a British artist based in London and is completing a MA in Photography at Central Saint Martins. Her multi-disciplinary practice explores the perceptions of liminal environments through mixed-media installations, which consciously engage with the multiple and often ambiguous producers of these sites. By exploring the relationships between the materiality of such places and the experiences of process and memory inherent through duration, the audience are invited to question and co-produce places they both observe and occupy. Diana has exhibited in the United Kingdom and collaborated with Tate Exchange, London for THIS IS AN ART SCHOOL with Central Saint Martins.

Born 1993 in Guilin, China. Liao Luowei received her BA in Animation Design from Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, China in 2015. She is currently studying Global Art Practice at the Tokyo University of the Arts.

Luowei’s art focuses on the social situation and issues of the artist’s selfhood based on her personal experiences. Her work primarily takes the form of videos, public interventions and performances. He is interested in creating opportunities for encounters through his art practices. Mabuchi believes that encounters can lead to deeper and wider knowledge about the world around us.
